Thank you for purchasing Invisible Shed Antler Displays products! We want to share recommendations on how to best use our mounts and stand products and tips on installation. Please review the gallery photos on each product’s purchasing page and contact us with any questions or suggestions.
- Proper product selections for each antler size and shape is key for every successful display.
- For any questions regarding installation, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We will gladly provide detailed recommendations for the best installation methods for displaying your antlers. However, please note that we do not offer installation services.
- For best results, clean the mount or stand's acrylic with a microfiber cloth and water. Avoid paper towels or materials that could scratch the surface. Do not use solvents or household cleaners.
- The wall mounts and stands are made of high-quality acrylic; they are not indestructible. do not exert unnecessary pressure on the acrylic. Care should be taken whenever handling antlers to remove or add them to the acrylic display.
- The acrylic mounts and stands are not intended for outdoor applications. Exposure to sunlight may degrade the acrylic. Outdoor use has not been tested and is not recommended.
- Keep the mounts and stands away from intense sunlight or areas of extreme heat. These could affect the acrylic.
When installing the acrylic wall mount versions:
- We recommend that the screw(s) are secured within a stud or a hard surface such as wood. If mounting only to sheetrock or plaster, use an appropriate anchor/toggle (not included), as the screw alone will not be sufficient.
- Do not over tighten the screws; they need to be snug. For optimal control, we recommend hand-tightening the final few turns of the screw.

Why is there a right and left Elk wall mount?
Elk wall mounts are unique in that they require separate left and right mounts for a proper fit. In contrast, the other wall mounts are universal and can be used for either a left or right antler.
How can I tell which antler is the right or left one on the elk wall mounts?
The right and left sides are based on the elk’s perspective, as if the antlers are still on its head. So, the right antler is the elk’s right, and the left is the elk’s left, not your right or left as you look at the mount.
With any mount or stand do I need to drill into the antler?
No, drilling into the antler is not necessary—that’s one of the great things about these wall mounts! They’re designed to preserve the antlers’ original integrity and condition.
How many moose wall mounts are needed per antler?
Each moose antler requires two wall mounts. Depending on the size of the antler shed and how you’d like it displayed, you can choose two XL mounts, two regular mounts, or mix and match one of each.
Are the shed antler stands and wall mounts sold as a pair?
No, the antler shed stands and wall mounts are sold individually, as many people don’t have matching sets to display.
Are sheetrock wall anchors provided?
No, Sheetrock wall anchors are not included. Screws should be secured directly into wood, such as a wall stud. If that’s not possible, use a wall anchor of your choice that’s appropriate for your wall type. Proper installation is the customer’s responsibility.
